Lead: Follow directions of CLT Parking Attendants stationed in
lots to assist parkers during peak usage times.
Business
Valet
Rate: $4 for the first 30 minutes, $1 for each additional 30 minutes,
$10 for first 24 hour period.
Business Valet is conveniently located off Wilkinson Blvd. Just
give the keys to the attendant and your vehicle will be parked.
A designated shuttle delivers passengers to and from the terminal,
less than a 5-minute drive. Call ahead reservations are available,
as well as numerous automotive services.
Hourly
Parking
Rate: Free for the first 30 minutes; and $1 per 30 minutes; Maximum
daily rate of $16.
This area should only be used for picking up or dropping off passengers.
Daily
Parking
Rate: $1 per hour with a maximum daily rate of $6.
This short-term lot should be used for traveling passengers leaving
their car at the Airport for 24 hours or more. Daily includes
surface lots and decks, which are located within walking distance
to the terminal.
Long-Term/Remote
Parking
Rate: $3 per 24-hour period.
Designed for travelers parking for 48 hours or longer.
Curbside
Valet
Rate: $4 for the first 30 minutes, $1 for each additional hour
with a maximum daily rate of $19.
Curbside Valet is available at the East End of the Ticketing/Upper
Level. Leave your vehicle with the valet representative for parking,
and upon return, come back to have your car returned to you. Call

Overflow
Parking
Rate: $3 per day.
*Open only when all lots are closed - special one time rate.
During periods of high parking demand, all parking lots may be
at capacity. During this time, CLT will open its Overflow parking
area, located on Old Dowd Rd.
Free
Cell Phone Lot
Wait in your vehicle and ask your passenger to contact you via
cell phone when they claim their luggage, then drive to the Baggage
Claim area to pick them up.
Shuttle Buses
Shuttle buses operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week. To ensure
a shuttle bus will be available to transport you to your vehicle
after 11 p.m., please call 704.359.4038.
In Remote,
Long Term and Satellite lots shuttle buses run every 10 to 15
minutes.
In the Daily decks, shuttle buses run every 8 to 10 minutes.
This service
is free to passengers.
Remember,
Only Immediate Loading and Unloading is permitted at Curbside.
Transportation Security Regulations prohibit vehicles to be left
unattended on Ticketing/Baggage Claim Levels. All vehicles left
unattended will be ticketed or towed.

1. May I
make reservations for parking?
CLT currently
does not accept parking reservations.
2. How may
I pay for parking?
Parking attendants
accept cash, credit cards and traveler's checks.
3. Where
is handicapped parking located, and what are the rates?
Handicap
parking is available in all CLT lots and decks except the Remote
lot.
Rates: Standard
rates apply for handicap parking in all lots except the Hourly
decks, which charge $6 per day for passengers who present the
parking attendant a handicap parking license plate or handicap
placard.
4. How long
may I leave my car in CLT's parking lots? May I leave my car in
the Daily Lot for longer than a day?
You may leave
your vehicle in any CLT lot for up to 30 days without notifying
parking staff. If you must leave your vehicle in a CLT lot over
30 days, please contact parking at 704.359.4038 or inform your
shuttle bus driver before he or she drops you off at the terminal.
5. When do
I pay for parking?
Passengers
pay for parking when they exit the lot.
6. Are there
any additional fees for parking?
No.
7. Is there
any way of knowing what lots will be open when I arrive at the
Airport?

8. Why are
some lots closed when there appears to be open spaces?
Lots are
closed when there are not enough available spaces to properly
service vehicles.
9. How safe are CLT parking lots?
All CLT parking
lots are well-lit and patrolled regularly by Airport Police.
10. Where
may I park when picking up a relative or friend?
We encourage
CLT visitors to park in the Hourly Decks when picking up family
and friends. Hourly deck rates are: Free for the first 30 minutes;
and $1 per 30 minutes; Maximum daily rate $16.
Visitors
may also park in the Cell Phone lot. Just wait in your vehicle
and ask your passenger to contact you via cell phone when they
claim their luggage, then drive to the Baggage Claim area to pick
them up.

14. What
type of parking assistance does your staff offer passengers?
Parking staff
will assist passengers with pumping air in tires, jump starting
batteries, locating lost cars and providing a limited amount of
gas to passengers in need. Also, assistance with lock-outs is
provided for some vehicles.
15. I've
misplaced my parking ticket, what should I do?
Please drive
to the toll plaza where a cashier will assist you.
16. What
type of covered parking do you provide?
Covered parking
is available in the Hourly and Daily decks.
17. What's
the best way to remember where I parked?
Write down
the lot and space number on the back of the ticket you receive
when you enter the lot and place it in your wallet, purse or bag.
Also, please
write down your license plate number, which will assist parking
staff in locating your vehicle if you should happen to forget
where you parked.

2. I'm returning
late at night to CLT, may I ask the shuttle bus driver to drive
me to my car?
Many shuttle
buses can not maneuver between lanes to drive passengers directly
to their vehicles. We, therefore, ask that passengers inform the
driver when they board the shuttle bus that they would like assistance
to their car. The driver can then request this service from parking
staff and have someone meet you in your lot.
3. What
is the cost for shuttles buses?
Shuttle bus
transportation is a free service for CLT passengers.
4. How often

In Remote,
Long Term and Satellite lots shuttle buses run every 10 to 15

5. Where
do I catch a shuttle bus when arriving to CLT?
When arriving
at CLT, passengers may catch a shuttle bus at one of several parking
shelters located within the lot.
6. Where
do I catch shuttle buses when exiting CLT?
When exiting
CLT, you may catch a shuttle bus in Baggage Claim - Lower Level
outside the courtesy vehicle lane between Zones A and B &
C and D.
7. What
should I do if I have several passengers and lots of luggage?
If you have
several people in your party, we recommend that first you drop
off your luggage and passengers in the ticket lobby, which is
located on the ticketing level and then park your vehicle.
